A&A by Doma is the preservation and reinvention of two adjoining office towers — Alexander & Albemarle.
Swell were engaged to develop the brand identity and sales suite, as well as numerous ongoing components to create a comprehensive suite of printed and digital marketing material. +
Built in the mid-1960s by the Commonwealth, Alexander & Albemarle were among the first office buildings to be built in the town centre. Repurposing much of the existing structure, the two towers are set for low-density urban living as industrial apartments and lofts.
Influenced by the industrial nature of the development, the identity captures COX Architecture’s design philosophy alongside Doma’s vision, providing cut-through in a crowded apartment market.
The balance of contemporary lifestyle photography with historical imagery allows the brand to reflect and pay homage to the buildings’ remarkable history as they move forward into a new era.
In 2019, A&A was recognised with the Award for Outstanding Property Marketing ACT at the annual Property Council of Australia Awards.
